“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)

sun-rise-nature-scenery-1Hello. How is everyone? God is so good and I’ll tell you just one of many reasons why.  I have a “special” birthday coming up in March and as many of us review, lament, and take that walk down memory lane from the last birthday, it always seems like there is not enough time and  not enough money for the things we may want to do.  Anyway, my heart was drawn to Israel for quite a while and I have made many excuses for not pursing my trip.  Then (2) weeks ago, the LORD opened a door of opportunity that I had to walk through! I will try to give you the short version of the story. I am going on a tour to Israel in March through an organization called “Messianic Journeys” with The Moody Bible Church from Chicago, Illinois.  The opportunity I was referring to was that when I went online and saw there was a waiting list-naturally I was a little disheartened. But, I added my name to the list and as soon I signed off the site, my cell phone rang! I didn’t recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. In the meantime I thought, could that have been the number to that organization?  Guess what? It was! I grabbed my cell phone, went into my car (because I was at work) and called back immediately.  Michael Rydelnik answered the phone, so I introduced myself and said I was returning his call and he said “do I know you?” I said “yes”.  He was a pastor of the “Olive Tree Congregation? in Plainview, NY and we met 19 or 20 years ago! He knew my pastor at the time and I visited his congregation of Jewish believers in Jesus as Messiah. Coincidence? I think not!  There was only (1) spot left on the trip and now, I am going!.  We leave (6) weeks from today!.  How awesome is that! God saw the desire of my heart and made a way for me to go.

I am going to learn and see so much Biblical history! i think it will be even be more significant hearing the history from a person who is Jewish by birth, and now has accepted Jesus as his Messiah (Christ).  He can explain where in the Old Testament  all of the coming promises of the Messiah.We will be in places that we read about in the scriptures-Jesusalem, The Mount of Olives, The Dead Sea and so much more.  I will be able to get in touch with my Jewish roots even though I was not raised in it.  We will arise and  walk where the glory of God has taken many!.

The light referred to in this scripture is Jesus, who has come ! He brings the light of His truth in the world’s darkness of lies.  “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!.” (Hebrews  13:8) When we walk with the LORD, His glory rises and shines on those that  belong to Him. We walk in His image bringing His truth to everyone.

Until we meet again, I wish you all Walk Every Day With Grace that only Yeshua can give.

In His Love,

“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

tumblr_m0z5nk8Hy51qk6bgxo1_500Hello! How is everyone?  I hope everyone is progressing well into the New Year and getting to know Jesus more intimately. It truly will be the best relationship you ever have.

I chose the above scripture because I kept seeing it over and over. I think it very appropriate going into the New Year as well. God was definitely drawing my attention towards Him and wanting me to get rid of my distractions so I could come and commune solely with Him.  He actually wanted to bless me and I didn’t even know it!  God hears and see our desires (good and bad), but, He also has things prepared for us individually for our lives.  I think it is so awesome that God knows what His children want for their lives; and like any good Father, He intervenes as necessary and opens or closes doors for opportunities.

The question then becomes “do we want it?”  Do we really want to know what God has in store for us? Or, do we just want to go about our business and do what we want to do as if we are god ourselves?  One cannot be a true believer of God apart from Him.  That would be silly!  That’s like a child acting as their own parent.  This is where faith comes in to play.  One needs to believe that God keeps His Word and only has the best of intentions for us.  He is the Creator and sees His creation from it’s inception throughout all of eternity.  He knows the beginning from the end.  That’s why “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into our hearts (and mind) what God has already prepared for those that LOVE Him. We display our love for God by our faith and trust in Him.  Have you really ever loved somebody you did not have faith or trust in?  Did you question that relationship?  There is nothing to question regarding God’s love for you.  However, He wants YOU to see your love for Him as well. The way we display our love for Him is by our actions of obedience towards Him and His word.

It is always a beautiful experience as your union with God becomes deeper and more intimate.  It will take your breath away that is indescribable. God has many things planned for you if you open your heart and dismiss your doubt.  He cannot fail you because He is perfect and His ways are perfect.  He loves you and wants to show you His love for you.  Will you that chance and let God show you His love?  Take a bigger chance and show Him how much you love Him by believing that His Word is true.

Life is short.  Don’t waste the love God wants to give you by not receiving Him into your life.  Open your heart to Jesus and let Him give you His.

Until we meet again, I pray that you Walk Every Day With Grace.

In His Love,

“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.” (Revelation 22:17)

Hello!  How was everyone’s week?  I don’t know about you, but time seems to be speeding up a bit-even though it is January 11th! It also seems like the world’s issues are escalating as well.  I would say that is definitely true for us in the US-we are having major changes in our healthcare, taxes, schools, employment (un-employment), family and so on.  The time we live in seems to have become more and more serious and less peaceful.

Keeping all that in mind, know that “The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.” (Psalm 14:2) Jesus is always extending His invitation to those who wish to receive it.  I believe people do have a “thirst” to know who God is, but they are embarrassed or afraid, or maybe they feel unworthy.  This what God says about that…”for He says, at the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the “acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Now there is no reason to have an excuse.  The Spirit (which is the Holy Spirit) and the bride (which are the church and those that believe in Jesus) say come! Come, now is the time to meet Jesus.  Come as you are…no need to change for Him because He will do the changing for you on the inside once you receive Him into your life. He is the only One who can quench your thirst for spiritual knowledge while giving you eternal life.  All one has to do is to come, repent, receive and drink from the water of life. God makes everything so attainable, so simple and the best part is the gift of salvation is free!

I do want you to know that Jesus is also a gentleman.  What I mean by that is that He will  not beat down the door to your heart for you to let Him in.  He knocks on the door of your heart, and hopes you invite Him in. In fact, Jesus says, “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.  So be earnest and repent.  Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.  To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:19-21) Doesn’t that sound like a loving Father and a King?  I hope you notice on the picture that there is no door handle. You see, you have to open the door from the inside (your heart) and let Jesus in.

I hope you invite Jesus into your heart and partake in the life He has waiting for you.  Until we meet again, I pray that you walk Every Day With Grace.

In His Love,

“Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?” (2 Corinthians 13:5)

Hello! How is everyone doing? I don’t know about you, but, it still feels like 2012 to me!  We are only 4 days in and I still feel the residue from last year.  Seriously, I already want a “do-over”. I wanted to start my New Year filled with new goals and new vigor. Instead I am fighting pain from a broken tooth that was extracted.  I know quite a few people who are sick with either a bad flu; or a stomach virus…and my tooth extraction has been pretty painful for the last week.  My point to all of this is these things are distractions-temporary, but distractions nonetheless.  The problem with distractions is that one takes their focus off of God and put it on themselves because of the adversity they are going through. I don’t know about you, but I am not the most benevolent when I am going through my pain. Why? Because when it’s my pain it’s all about me. I can hardly focus on God long enough to say “help me Lord!” “Heal me, please!”  I know you live inside of me, but, You feel so far away.

The Bible says “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3). Trust is a funny thing. I know in my heart I trust God, but when any form of adversity comes, I still struggle-and I am a Born Again Believer for almost 27 years.  People, we are not perfect. However, the God I serve, whose name is Jesus, is perfect and I know He is always looking out for my best interest because I am His child. His same love is available for you as well as long you ask Him to come in to your heart and your life.

This week my blog is a short because of my pain from my tooth extraction, but, I know that tomorrow is a new day and this is a New Year that will have New Beginnings. Let’s encourage one another as we move forward to all the newness God has to offer us.

Just a reminder…If you are looking for a church and  not sure where to go, you can stream live services from Times Square Church every Sunday at 10 AM Eastern Standard time at  I would also like to leave you Psalm 121 as God’s Word of encouragement to you.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth,

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Until we meet again, I pray that you walk Every Day With Grace.

In His love,
