Hello. How is everyone? God is so good and I’ll tell you just one of many reasons why. I have a “special” birthday coming up in March and as many of us review, lament, and take that walk down memory lane from the last birthday, it always seems like there is not enough time and not enough money for the things we may want to do. Anyway, my heart was drawn to Israel for quite a while and I have made many excuses for not pursing my trip. Then (2) weeks ago, the LORD opened a door of opportunity that I had to walk through! I will try to give you the short version of the story. I am going on a tour to Israel in March through an organization called “Messianic Journeys” with The Moody Bible Church from Chicago, Illinois. The opportunity I was referring to was that when I went online and saw there was a waiting list-naturally I was a little disheartened. But, I added my name to the list and as soon I signed off the site, my cell phone rang! I didn’t recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. In the meantime I thought, could that have been the number to that organization? Guess what? It was! I grabbed my cell phone, went into my car (because I was at work) and called back immediately. Michael Rydelnik answered the phone, so I introduced myself and said I was returning his call and he said “do I know you?” I said “yes”. He was a pastor of the “Olive Tree Congregation? in Plainview, NY and we met 19 or 20 years ago! He knew my pastor at the time and I visited his congregation of Jewish believers in Jesus as Messiah. Coincidence? I think not! There was only (1) spot left on the trip and now, I am going!. We leave (6) weeks from today!. How awesome is that! God saw the desire of my heart and made a way for me to go.
I am going to learn and see so much Biblical history! i think it will be even be more significant hearing the history from a person who is Jewish by birth, and now has accepted Jesus as his Messiah (Christ). He can explain where in the Old Testament all of the coming promises of the Messiah. We will be in places that we read about in the scriptures-Jesusalem, The Mount of Olives, The Dead Sea and so much more. I will be able to get in touch with my Jewish roots even though I was not raised in it. We will arise and walk where the glory of God has taken many!.
The light referred to in this scripture is Jesus, who has come ! He brings the light of His truth in the world’s darkness of lies. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!.” (Hebrews 13:8) When we walk with the LORD, His glory rises and shines on those that belong to Him. We walk in His image bringing His truth to everyone.
Until we meet again, I wish you all Walk Every Day With Grace that only Yeshua can give.
In His Love,
